Increase of His Government

Governmentally the Body of Messiah is measured according to our mandate to occupy until He comes, to do business until He comes (Lu 18:13). We are no longer afraid of God but reverentially fear and honor Him. We realize the government and rule of God is meant not only for our good, but for the benefit of all. We understand the worldview of His Kingdom, and desire to accomplish that wordlview in our lifetime. We understand what the will of the Lord is, know how to advance it through prayer and righteous living, and dominate in the earth as those who know the reality: “The heavens belong to the Lord, but the earth He has given to men.”
We are blessing carriers, sum and substance of His presence on Earth, governed by Him as He governs through us. In this generation – a generation being forty years – I believe we have narrowed the distance between ignorance of the rule of God in our lives in a governmental sense, and a revelation of Isaiah’s announcement that the government rests upon His shoulder, increasingly—more and more—and the increase of His government and peace continues; it does not end:
“For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of His government and peace There will be no end, Upon the throne of David and over His Kingdom, To order it and establish it with judgment and justice From that time forward, even forever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.” Isaiah 6:6-7
Father, we ask today for Your government to advance in everything concerning us; for Your government to go ahead of us as a forerunner. Cause high places to be humbled and bring promotion to the low place. Lord, send Your government ahead of us, as the forerunner for us. Crooked path, be straight; rough place, be smooth!
Amen, so be it!
